Skills Academy

Annomo Foundation collaborates with local communities to provide affordable high-quality education to young learners. Through sponsored scholarships to gain diplomas and vocational certificates accredited by the National Board of Technical Education, our work provides young men and women who have not completed secondary school or who cannot continue with tertiary education, with opportunities to continue in education and work as interns in our partner organisations.

Upon completing their diplomas, we facilitate a transition pathway into work or continued education.

Our aim is to equip disadvantaged individuals with the skills, resources and support that they need to take charge of their lives, in this way, they can build strong futures and we strengthen community outcomes.

Skills Acquisition Programme for young people – N50,000.00 contribution for:

  • Certified training in baking, computer and phone repair, printing, sewing, inverters and solar panel installation or early-years childcare.
  • Job Placement opportunities to support post training income generation.

Affordable High Quality Education

We believe that teenage mothers and survivors of domestic violence without a social support system must have an opportunity to rebuild their lives following childbirth. We offer subsidised child minding support services that gives them  the opportunity to continue with work or education while their babies and toddlers are cared for by our trained child minders.

Low income mothers with younger children of primary school age also have access to our subsidised high-quality education, In this way, we achieve our focus of female empowerment via education in addition, we give affordable opportunities to teenage mothers and survivors of gender based violence who want to acquire education or employment by providing affordable creche, nurseries and schools for their children.

Each school has a fully equipped free members only library accessible to every child within the local community in order to encourage regular reading. Books can be borrowed daily.

Our private schools are not only affordable but also offer a workable payment plan so that mothers are not struggling to pay bills.

Auntie Ann’s Center is a private creché, preschool, free library and skills center is targeted to single mothers and parents living in low budget areas. This is aimed at developing the potential in every child and adult.
