Who we are

In 2016 after years of advocacy for gender based violence, Dr Chichi Menakaya founded Okwuí Mask Scheme as an all-inclusive, non-partisan group working to increase awareness on the menace of gender-based violence in today’s society. With a great team who have a track record of engendering generational change we have made great strides. The past six years have driven home the fact that alongside gender issues there is a huge need to address  the deficit in comprehensive and relevant education and healthcare as well as other social problems that limit the potential of communities. To achieve our vision of gender equality , we have now expanded our work to better service the communities we have worked with in the past six years.

Annomo Foundation was created to expand our work initially delivered through Okwuí Mask Scheme so that we can address issues faced by low income earners across marginalised communities in African countries. Our aim is to empower these communities by providing the basic foundation needed to achieve their full potentials regarding their health, leadership acquisition, education and gender.
